Migrating Imperia to TYPO3 CMS
The talk is about our current experience with migrating about 8000 pages and 12000 news items from Imperia CMS to TYPO3. We will illustrate the concepts we have used and why it could be done in a rather fast manner.
The county of Wetterau approached us with the task of migrating their Imperia installation to TYPO3 CMS.
It consisted of over 8000 pages and roughly 12000 news items which should be available as content elements and tt_news for news display.
While the importing process took place the complete website has been redone in a responsive manner.
The abstract process is not in any way tied to Imperia and can be used as a blueprint for migrating from basically any CMS to TYPO3
